As an avid camper and outdoorsman, I often turn to nature for inspiration and to sometimes take a moment to catch my breath. I wanted to create a visual system that features the majestic landscapes, animals, and park rangers, rather than diminish them. My solution was to simplify the arrowhead to a single color symbol that could be used for maximum legibility, accompanied by strong typography, earth tone colors, and simple patterns.
